Oakley has always possessed great instincts when hunting and retrieving. She is a strong swimmer, never lost a bird in the field, and would wake up bright and early ready to go to work. Oakley suffered from an unexpected medical emergency which lead to an early retirement, she is currently doing well, living the happy retired dog's life.
