All puppies bought from Terranova Retrievers LLC are raised in our home with us from the moment that they are born to the time that they go home with the newest extensions of the Terranova Retrievers family. All pups are also well socialized. At 5 weeks old, pups will venture outside for the first time; they will be introduced to water (weather permitting), and live quail/pigeon as well as duck wings, and travel in vehicles.

We strive to amp up the drive of any puppies coming from us while they are still in our possession. Pups will be given "hup pups" regularly after 5 weeks of age and from the time they are walking/beginning to play, they will be exposed to sensory toys to help their cognitive development. All puppies from Terranova Retrievers will come equipped with a basic puppy pack.

Including but not limited to:

Starter bag of Eukanuba puppy food, Terranova Retrievers canvas bumper, first month of prevention, information folder, shot records, registration papers, pamphlets, Terranova Retrievers hat, and a small toy.

Where you choose to buy your puppy from is one of the most important decision's you will make when it comes to acquiring a new furry companion, even more so if you intend to hunt with him/her. It is of the utmost importance to make sure that the puppy you are looking to buy will have the best chance possible of being free from genetic defects. With many breeds there is no 100% guarantee against some of these genetic defects; however, the best approach is to only buy from breeders who health test their dogs and are doing everything possible to make sure their pups have the best chances of not developing a genetic defect.

Each of our litters, whether using our own personal dogs or studs from other kennels; do come from health tested breeding stock. We also choose Studs/Dams based off of drive, train-ability, breed standard based appearance, and personality.

Important Information to Consider

We guarantee that a puppy bought from us will be healthy at the date of the designated pickup. It is then the buyer's responsibility to have the puppy checked out by their local vet within 72 hours of the pup leaving Terranova Retrievers LLC.
If for any reason the puppy buyer cannot keep the puppy/dog, throughout it's entire life... the dog will be returned to the breeder. Pups bought from us WILL NOT be sold to a third party or placed into a shelter. If the acquired puppy/dog is no longer wanted, we will gladly accept the returned puppy/dog under any circumstances.
As a breeder, we do everything possible to ensure the proper health, drive, and temperament of the puppies purchased from us.
As a buyer, it is imperative and your sole responsibility to properly feed, exercise, socialize, train, care for, and shelter your newly acquired pup.
When you buy a puppy from us here at Terranova Retrievers, you become a member of the Terranova Retrievers family. Our puppies are always sold on Limited Registration, if Full Registration is ever desired please mention it to us so that we can discuss the requirements needed to possibly obtain Full Registration.
